Note 1 (our translation): Holders of national passports of the states that do not need a visa to enter Germany (entry: "Nein") may, in principle, stay in federal territory without a visa for no longer than 90 days in any period of 180 days. They also may not take up gainful employment during this period. Germany has concluded bilateral visa waiver agreements with certain states, which may allow a stay in Germany longer than 90 days in any period of 180 days.
